Spring has officially sprung, and things are already looking brighter around the Pipitone Group (PG) office! PG employees raised $462.00 by participating in The American Cancer Society (ASC) fundraiser, Daffodil Days. Of this total, $255.00 worth of purchases were donations in the form of Project Care—a program that delivers Boyd’s Bears to inpatients at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC—and Gifts of Hope—bunches of daffodils given to adult inpatients at local hospitals, treatment centers and nursing homes.

For more than 35 years, the ACS has been raising funds by selling the resilient flower, traditionally the first of spring, as a symbol of “the hope we all share for a future where cancer no longer threatens those we love.”

We are excited to see the splashes bright yellow throughout the building, and proud to have participated in such an important fundraiser for a cause which has touched so many here.
